Color is Life

Light is life. All life on our planet is nourished and maintained by the light it needs to absorb in order to exist. From a spiritual perspective, the Sun represents God or the source of life. From a scientific viewpoint, light is electromagnetic energy produced by the Sun. These waves are vibrations of electric and magnetic fields that pass through space. Light travels in darkness but is not perceived until it bounces off something. This is why space is seen as dark, until an object that reflects light is present. Everything that we see is reflected light. When light waves bounce off objects and into our eyes, they create a sensation of light that is perceived by the brain as a particular frequency or what we term color; for example, a high frequency is perceived as blue and a low frequency as red.

The corresponding molecular structure and subsequent color of an object cause light rays to be mixed, absorbed, and reflected in varying speeds and intensities. Objects that appear to be dark absorb more light rays and therefore reflect less light back to the eyes, creating an illusion of a dark color. Conversely, lighter objects reflect more light, giving the illusion of more brightness and intensity. For example, when light strikes a red surface, that surface absorbs all the other rays and reflects back the red wavelengths. This is how we see that the object is red.
WHAT IS COLOR?
Color is a property of light. Light travels in waves – electromagnetic waves. These waves are vibrations of electric and magnetic fields that pass through space. ln physics. the visible spectrum has three primary colors, which are red. green, and blue. Chemically, color is derived from pigments and compounds, and the three primary colors in this environment are red. yellow, and blue. The combination of any two of these colors will give a third color- a secondary color.
Color is simply light of different wavelengths and frequencies, and light is just one form of energy, made up of photons. The visible spectrum as we see it consists of the rainbow.
Our retinas have three types of color receptors in the form of cones. We can detect only three of the colors in the spectrum, red, blue, and green. These colors are called additive primaries. These three colors combine to create all the other colors we see. The seven colors of the spectrum all have varying wavelengths and frequencies. Red is at the lower end of the spectrum and has a higher wavelength but lower frequency than does violet, which is at the top end of the spectrum. Violet has a lower wavelength and higher frequency. Just outside the normally visible spectrum are infrared and ultraviolet, though some people can at least partially see these wavelengths as well.
The seven colors of the rainbow become visible when a prism is placed in the path of sunlight. As the light passes through the prism, it is split by refraction into the seven visible colors of the spectrum. The amount of energy in a given light wave is proportionally related to its frequency; thus, a high-frequency light wave has a higher energy than a low frequency light wave does.
So, basically what we experience as color is the interacton between light and darkness. In spritual terms, ”Light” was the first act of Creation and the beginning of separation between the things that might be possible and those that were made real. We are born into the light of the world and we die and we gathered into the Light of Spirit.

For most peeple, color is a continuing experience, and this is true even for those who are born blind or who have lost their sight. From the time we wake, to the time we go to sleep, color is all around us-in nature, in the buildings in which we work and live, and in the clothes we wear. When we close our eyes and see inner images, like all other types of energy, the energy of the colors we see has an effect upon us.

We are beings of light. Portions of our own subtle energy field (or aura) store information as color, which can be perceived clairvoyantly as fields of color that fluctuate with changes in our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states. Color has always been important in spiritual, psychic, and esoteric work because of the ways it can affect us. You know more about color than you believe you do. Your unconscious mind already knows about color and selects the colors that express something about you and your inner state. For example, how many times have you taken a shirt out of your drawer, put it on, and thought, “Wrong color for today!” and then replaced it with a shirt of another color?

You might not have been able to analyse why that was, but you instictively knew that the replacement of color was right because it “felt better”.

I have traveled a long way towards the final destination of life. Many times I took a wrong turn on the road and spend a lot of precious time to come back on main road. Many times, I helped & supported the people who did not deserve my attention, and unknowingly ignored the ones who cared for me. Through this site, I want to put some traffic signs on the route of life to help those who are willing not to make similar mistakes that I did.
